The Process: getting your new DocDoctor Resume is as easy as 1,2,3!


  1. REQUEST: Send us an e-mail or call to request the services that you would like (full menu is listed below). We will respond ASAP and request that you send in your current Resume, as well as any additional information that may assist your editor in the writing process (i.e. a job posting, special instructions, etc.). 
  2. RECIEVED: Your editor will then respond with a custom PayPal invoice for your order. Upon receipt of payment and your documents/ information, a file will be opened that same day (during business hours, or the next day if received after hours).  Work on your new Resume will begin the next business day.
  3. REVISIONS: Our editors will begin writing a new Resume for you from scratch: new content, formatting, and syntax (selectively using the information from your old resume, and any specific instructions, as a guide for the first draft). The first draft of the completed Resume will be sent to you when available, and you will then converse with your editor by e-mail or phone regarding revisions until your new document is completed to your satisfaction. Your Resume will then be sent in both Word and PDF formats. LinkedIn/ Indeed Profile Optimization Service (for those who would prefer a traditional resume AND to have the new content uploaded and optimized to an existing profile) is also available, if needed.

A solid Cover Letter is, without a doubt, as important as a strong resume. Even well-qualified candidates won't succeed in a job application unless they can demonstrate a positive work ethic, interest in the company or organization, and a uniqueness that sets them apart from the other candidates in their Cover Letter.

If ordered as part of a package, work on Cover Letters begin after the Resume has been completed, and follows the same standard individual document timeline as the Resume Service. 


Note: A 1 page Cover Letter is the standard, however, if you require a longer cover letter, an additional fee of $74.95/ page applies. This is often required by Federal Service applications and other applications requesting answers to a series of job-specific, screening, or competency questions. Please review your job posting (if you have one) to determine whether there are several specific questions that need to be answered as part of your application, or whether it is a more general posting requiring only a Resume and general Cover Letter.


Your Editor will discuss any length requirements with you for documents estimated to need to be longer than the standard 1 page Cover Letter, and you will always have the final say on length (any additional pages/ charges require your approval first--we don't like hidden or surprise fees!).
